TIGER GAS  and its long-term partner PETRONAS Marine, a subsidiary of Malaysia's National Oil Company (referred to as: Petronas) officially entered into a cooperation in the LNG bunkering business on March 7, 2023.

Mr. Ahmad Adly Alias, Vice President, Downstream Petroleum Refining, Marketing and Trading of Petronas, Ms. Li Yan, Chairwoman and Chief Representative of Petronas China , Mr. Mohd Firdaus Bin Kamilrudin,  Petronas LNG bunkering Business Sales Head, Mr. Gerry Wang, Chairman of Tiger Gas Group, Mr. Xue Chaochun, Vice Chairman of Tiger Gas Group, Mr. Xu Junfeng,Vice Chairman of Tiger Gas Group, Mr. Qu Jianbo, Vice Chairman of Tiger Gas Group and other senior leaders of both sides jointly attended the celebration.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Ahmad Adly Alias said: "We are putting sustainability at the heart of our efforts in China to help the country achieve its 'Dual-Carbon 'goal by providing quality energy solutions, while working with our partners to contribute to the development of the energy sector.

Tiger Gas and Petronas have always maintained a long-term friendly cooperative relationship in the field of LNG. In 2020, the two parties reached a long-term purchase and sale contract of LNG under the ISO tank container supply chain model, supplying natural gas to China under the ISO tank container supply chain model. This ground-breaking LNG solution enables small and medium-sized enterprises in remote inland areas to obtain clean natural gas energy and help them achieve their sustainable development goals.

The world's largest liquefied natural gas container transport dual-fuel deck cargo vessel "Tiger Maanshan" of Tiger Gas has completed its first offshore ship-to-ship LNG bunkering with Petronas at the Pengerang Anchorage in Johor, Malaysia on January 29, 2023, with a volume of about 500 tonnes, becoming the first Chinese customer of Petronas' LNG bunkering business.

With the smooth operation of the LNG bunkering business, the cooperation between the two parties will be further deepened, Mr. Gerry Wang, Chairman of Tiger Gas Group, said: "Tiger Gas and Petronas have maintained a good cooperative relationship for a long time. Today, ship-to-ship LNG bunkering at sea has greatly reduced the turnaround time for LNG ships dock, laying a solid foundation for a more efficient and green LNG supply chain.
